How to run the drill
- 1Start on the right block facing the baseline side of the rim.
- 2Make a right-hand layup, catch it out of the net without letting it touch the floor.
- 3Step across to the left block and finish with the left hand.
- 4Continue for 30–60 seconds or a set number of makes.
Coaching points
- Keep the ball high — chin and above
- Use the backboard
- Opposite knee drives up on each layup
