Equipment: 1 ball
How the play works
- 11 holds the ball near half court. Everyone else is flat along the baseline: two in the corners, two just outside the blocks.
- 2With about seven seconds left, 1 attacks. Going at six or seven leaves time for a rebound but not for the other team to answer.
- 3If a defender leaves a corner to help, kick it out for the shot.
- 4The two players by the blocks rebound.
Coaching points
- Know the clock: a coach or the bench counts it down out loud
- Attack the basket, don't settle for a long shot
- Everyone else: be ready to shoot or rebound
