Home Run (Full-Court Last Second)
Two or three seconds left and the whole court to go: long pass to your tallest player, who touches it on to a shooter running past.

Equipment: 1 ball
How the play works
- 1Your best passer takes the ball out under your own basket. 5 stands at the far free-throw line. 2 and 3 start near half court, one on each side.
- 2As the pass is thrown, 2 and 3 sprint towards the far basket, running past 5 on either side.
- 3The long pass goes to 5, who jumps, catches and drops it straight off to a shooter going past.
- 4The shooter catches and shoots. 1 stays back as the short option if the long pass isn't there.
Coaching points
- Practise the long pass: baseball style, high enough to catch
- 5: go and get it at its highest point, don't dribble
- The clock starts on the touch, so two passes fit in two seconds
