Equipment: 1 ball
How the play works
- 12 starts under the basket. 5 sets up on one block and 4 on the other; 3 stands just outside 4. 1 has the ball at the top.
- 22 chooses a side and comes off that screen to the wing. They read their defender: trailing means curl, cheating over the top means fade to the corner.
- 33 goes the opposite way to 2, off the other screen.
- 41 passes to whoever is open. The screener on that side then posts up.
Coaching points
- Shooter: set your defender up by leaning one way first
- Come off the screen shoulder to shoulder
- Screeners: hold the screen, then open up to the ball
