Equipment: 1 ball
How the play works
- 1Box set: 2 (shooter) on the ball-side block, 5 on the far block, 3 and 4 at the elbows.
- 22 screens across the lane for 5, who cuts to the ball-side block. First look: 5 for the layup.
- 3As soon as 2 has screened, 4 comes down and screens for 2, who pops out to the wing for a shot.
- 43 drifts to the top as the safety.
Coaching points
- 2 must really screen: that's what frees them next
- 4: set the down screen the moment 2 finishes theirs
- Inbounder reads low first, then the shooter
