How to run the drill
- 14v4 in the half court, normal rules.
- 2At any moment the coach shouts “change!”. The player with the ball puts it on the floor straight away.
- 3The defending team grabs it and attacks the far basket. The team that had it must sprint back, talk and match up.
- 4Play to a score or a stop at that end, then carry on 4v4 there until the next “change!”.
Coaching points
- First three steps are a sprint, both ways
- New defence: stop the ball first, then find a player
- New offence: look up and pass ahead
