Equipment: 1 ball each (or 1 per line)
How to run the drill
- 1Make three lines a step or two from the basket: one straight on, one each side.
- 2Shoot, get your own rebound and join the next line along, so everyone shoots from all three spots.
- 3Only a swish counts. Count your own swishes, or count as a team to a target (say 20).
- 4When most shots are dropping, everyone takes one step back.
Coaching points
- Elbow under the ball, hold the follow-through
- Shoot it up, not at the rim
- Same routine every shot
