1-on-1 Zig-Zag
Ball handler zig-zags the length of the floor against a defender who shuffles and turns them.

Equipment: 1 ball per pair
How to run the drill
- 1Pairs start on the baseline; use one third of the court width.
- 2Defender forces the ball handler to change direction as often as possible.
- 3Half speed for the first trip (defender hands behind back), then live.
- 4Switch roles at the far baseline.
Coaching points
- Ball handler: protect the ball, change speed
- Defender: beat the ball to the spot, nose on the ball
