How to run the drill
- 1Scatter cones all over the half court. Every player has a ball.
- 2On “Go!”, dribble around and touch as many cones as you can with your free hand in one minute. The ball must still be bouncing when you touch, and you must touch five different cones before going back to one.
- 3Count your score and try to beat it.
- 4Rounds: right hand, left hand, then change hands at every cone.
Coaching points
- Get low to touch the cone — keep the dribble alive
- Head up to find the next cone
- Dribble with the hand away from the cone
