What Time Is It, Mr Fox?
Players ask the time and take that many dribbles towards the fox — until it's “dinner time” and they race back.

Equipment: 1 ball each
How to run the drill
- 1The coach (the fox) stands at the free-throw line; players line up on the opposite baseline or half-court line with a ball each.
- 2Players shout “What time is it, Mr Fox?” The fox calls a time — “four o'clock” means four dribbles forward.
- 3Repeat until the players are close. Then the fox answers “Dinner time!” and chases as everyone dribbles back to the start.
- 4Anyone tagged becomes a fox too. Let a player be the fox.
Coaching points
- Count your dribbles out loud
- Control first — big dribbles are harder to keep
- Turn and go fast on “dinner time”
