Equipment: 1 ball, 2 cones
How to run the drill
- 1Two attackers with one ball start on the baseline; one defender waits in the middle.
- 2Attackers must get the ball to the cone at the far end — dribbling or passing — without the defender touching it.
- 3If the defender steps to the ball, pass to the free teammate.
- 4Rotate positions every go. Add a basket finish once they've got the idea.
Coaching points
- Spread out — make the defender choose
- Pass when the defender comes to you
- Catch and go
