A couple of pirates without a ball try to touch someone's ball — touch it and you take it, and they become the pirate.

Equipment: 1 ball each except the pirates
How to run the drill
- 1Pick two pirates who start without a ball. Everyone else dribbles inside the area.
- 2If a pirate touches your ball, hand it over — you're now a pirate and they're a dribbler.
- 3You can't steal straight back from the player who just took your ball.
- 4Play for two or three minutes; nobody is ever out.
Coaching points
- Head up — know where the pirates are
- Keep your body between the pirate and the ball
- Change direction to escape
