How to run the drill
- 1Guard at the top with the ball, big at the elbow.
- 2Big sprints up and sets the screen on the guard's defender (imaginary).
- 3Guard sets it up with a jab, comes off shoulder-to-shoulder.
- 4Big rolls hard to the rim; guard hits the roll man, pulls up, or keeps attacking.
Coaching points
- Screener: wide base, angle the screen
- Ball handler: wait for the screen, shoulder to hip
- Roll with hands up, show a target
- Read the help — make the right play
